It’s the end of the year! I love to use these last weeks of December to look back on my year and reflect on the things I created or didn’t create, as it gives a better and larger perspective than monitoring daily progress. So for my blog, I decided to honor the work I did throughout the year and mention some of the best art blog posts I created. This could also serve as blog post ideas for your website, so do not hesitate to recreate my articles.

A little back-story on my blog

I posted my first-ever art blog post in December 2021. That makes my blog exactly 2 years old today! (Yayy). When I first started, I had no idea what blogging was; I just wanted to put the little web programming knowledge I had into action and asked myself, “What topic could I possibly talk about relentlessly?” And I figured that art and creativity were it!

Since then, I have shared over a hundred blog posts about different topics related to art, and I am still going (with no quitting in sight). However, I have created art blog posts that I love more than others for different reasons (I don’t believe parents who say they love their kids equally!).

My best art blog posts

If I were to pick only three articles and call them the best art blog posts I ever created, I would go with these:

My favorite format of blog content is educational, and for that reason, I have shared guides on different art principles and basics to help teach self-taught artists how to start in art or improve their techniques, including:

I have also shared some insightful articles that provide a specific magnification of mistakes that beginners could be making in their art creation process (some that didn’t even seem like mistakes to me when I was beginning! smh) and those include:

Another top favorite? practical guides for painting and drawing beginners

The best art blog posts based on the internet’s opinion

Now these are the technically great blog posts that I created and that the internet is obsessed with. These articles have taken the most of work to be produced and they currently drive the most traffic to my blog.

You will notice that the majority of these are very detailed and long as I make sure I create them to match the expectations of a reader who is looking for knowledge or a product recommendation from a search engine.

Conclusion

I have genuinely enjoyed creating every piece of content on this blog and I am looking forward to creating more. Thank you for reading my articles and for your warm comments and messages on social media. I appreciate all your feedback and interactions. Happy new year and enjoy creating <3
