In today’s article, I wanted to share with you some random stuff you need as an artist that you may haven’t thought about getting. If you are interested in reading more art-related content on my blog, maybe you’d want to start here. Without further introduction, let’s get started with the list.

1. A posture corrector

Needless to say, if you’re a digital or a traditional artist, you know your posture is terrible (I know, because SAME!). For that reason, I am featuring this product as one of the main stuff that you certainly need as an artist, so make sure to get one ASAP.

2. A drawing glove

Again, it doesn’t matter what art you are creating, because this drawing glove is super handy. It helps with smudging if you are drawing with pencils or pastels, as well as helping with friction reduction if you are using an iPad or a tablet to draw on. What also makes this useful and suitable for every artist is the fact that it’s good for both the left and right hands.

3. A good, sturdy phone stand is a must

As an artist, you are using your phone to find inspiration, find reel and tiktok ideas for content purposes, and you also use it to film your process (it doesn’t matter if you share it online or not, although I recommend you share your art online), or you may even use your phone to display a reference photo that you can draw or paint from. Whatever you do with your phone, having a basic but sturdy and reliable phone stand is helpful and comes in handy in many situations.

4. Art supply organizers

Now, these may not be as cheap as the previous things I mentioned that you need as an artist, but they are crucial. There’s a quote that says, “Outer order, inner calm,” and these organizers are it.

The first supply organizer I would recommend to you is this 360 bamboo pen holder. It is great for storing pencils, pastels, pens, brushes, and everything else that you may be using as an artist.

The second organizer would be this Wood Art Storage Rack that could serve for both display and for your artwork to dry on if you work with acrylics, watercolors, or oil paint on paper or panels.

If you are more of a big artwork artist and mostly use canvases, this would be more useful.

Conclusion

These are some of the stuff I think that you need as an artist. Let me know what other ransom stuff you find necessary to you or your creative process because I would genuinely love to know. Enjoy creating <3
